Traxia is a B2B trade finance platform that allows SMEs to access short-term funding by using their accounts receivables as collateral. Institutional investors can buy and trade this newly created tokenized debt securities on a global market.

How does it actually work?

1) A Small Medium Enterprise (SME) creates a profile and Uploads their invoices with a large multinational company (MNC) to the platform.

2) The MNC verifies the invoice and if in agreement with the terms, accepts the debt by using their private key.

3) We create a digital asset (smart-contract) out of that invoice – this debt security can now be traded.

4) Institutional investors make an offer to buy this debt security at a discount

5) The Investor who bids the lowest discount acquires the debt security token by paying the SME in a Fiat currency.

6) The Investor now owns the security. He can also trade it on a secondary market.

7) On the due date, the MNC pays the investor or the current holder of the debt security back in fiat currency

Tobias Pfütze

Tobias Pfütze studied Business Administration in Germany and China (Tuebingen University, Peking University and Tongji University) and soon after he graduated he started his first FinTech company in the field of mobile payments. That first company, Payday, incorporated an identical product vision in comparison to AliPay and WeChat Pay. The team managed to raise equity crowd-funding twice and delivered a proof of concept. Tobias capacity to lead and influence positively the people around him lead him to be a delegate at the 2016/2017 G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance and to invited as a mentor China Accelerator. Tobias is a visionairy and a doer that designed the whole Traxia ecosystem and worked on the product concept together with Florian Zeim. In more detail, he is the person at LiqEase who discovered inefficiencies of current securitization, factoring, collateralization, etc and how to tap into those business opportunities and create transparency in international trade finance.

Florian Zeim

Florian has a Masters degree in management. For the last 10 years, he has been building Mediaman, a digital product experience agency with offices in China, Germany and the US. As a managing director of this agency he was able to gain and grow big accounts like Mercedes-Benz, Porche, AB InBev and Shanghai Stock Exchange. Florian has a passion for user experience, innovation and web design. At LiqEase, he is the person who understands how the interface should look like, what the user wants to see and how to create a user funnel that is frictionless. Florian knows how to create a digital product that convert users into advocates.

Jean Michel Lied Lied

CTO

As a holder of a Master’s Degree in Computer Science awarded by Epitech Paris and Stockholms Universitet, Jean-Michel is an enthusiastic tech-entrepreneur who loves to use new technologies and approaches to solve modern problems our world faces. He worked on multiple innovative IT projects such as a blood stock management platform for hospitals at InnovHealth, Big data mobile app at Accor and IoT (Internet of Things) moneybox at Yellow Innovation at YBC Agency. At LiqEase he masterminds the blockchain/smart contract development (Ethereum, Solidity, Truffle, NodeJS) and his responsible for the software related project management of Traxia.

Bruno Botelho

Bruno holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Management that was given to him by NOVA Business School in Lisbon. Bruno started his international career in a publicly listed industrial group where he held the positions of financial controller, finance director and supply chain director. After seven years in the cement world, he decided to initiate his own entrepreneurial path by starting his own projects in Shanghai, China. The first one was a company that combined hastag printing with social media marketing. Then, he founded and managed the APAC office of Sales Engine Online which gave him experience in performance advertising and user acquisition campaigns. Being a blockchain and crypto enthusiast, he co-founded in 2017 The Blockchain Marketing Agency where he served as the digital strategist. Bruno’s responsibilities at LiqEase are to simplify the message across all channels and grow the user base which will ultimately lead to a higher brand value.

Sebastien Cheng

Executive Business Development

Sebastian is a seasoned sales and project manager with an MBA from INSEEC, Paris and Master in Finance by MGSM, Sydney. Over the years, Sebastien has been developing a strong network with importers and distributors in Asia especially in the FMCG sector. Having worked in Australia, Hong Kong and Shanghai his experience with cross-border operations is a big asset for LiqEase since we are targeting Asian SMEs that have recurrent trade deals with multinationals in Europe, US and vice-versa. Sebastian speaks Chinese and knows the culture. Therefore, he is our bridge to understand what the SME customer wants and what are its pain points.
